Friday, July 20

  • 2:42 a.m. — Police received a report that three men got out of a cab at and ran away. They then called another cab and left.
  • 2:55 p.m. — A caller told police someone stole a cell phone at . A suspect was later identified, and the business asked that he be issued a trespass notice.
  • 8:05 p.m. — Tires plus reported a man was causing a disturbance by arguing with a female customer. Police issued a trespass notice.

Saturday, July 21

  • 3:55 a.m. — Police investigated an unspecified burglary at a Seventh Avenue North home.
  • 3:55 p.m. — A bus driver reported that a man was making obscene gestures at him. The man got off the bus at Fifth Avenue South and Excelsior and was waiting for the next bus.
  • 7:24 p.m. — Police went to the following a report of two drunk men who’d been arguing about sports and both claimed to have been assaulted. Officers talked to the men, who left the scene.
  • 7:56 p.m. — A girl called police and said her father hit her mother. The mother got on the line and said everything was fine. The man left before officers arrived.
