Monday, July 18

11:06 a.m. — A Burnes Drive woman told police that someone ordered checks on her account and wrote them without her permission.

11:41 a.m. — A resident told police that someone tried to break into a Fifth Avenue North home the day before. The doors appeared to have been pried.

12:10 p.m. — Police responded to a report of two brothers fighting on the 700 block of Ninth Avenue South.

1:10 p.m. —  told police that someone pried open a door on the Excelsior Boulevard business and stole about 12 computers.

3:44 p.m. — A woman told police her neighbor called and said her boyfriend had been beating her and that she was afraid to call police. The woman was out when police responded.

 

Tuesday, July 19

2:09 p.m. — Police received a report that someone shoplifted from the Blake Road Holiday the night before.

2:56 p.m. — A Hopkins Center business told police that an employee had stolen property.

4:17 p.m. — A Mainstreet business told police that someone stole $120 from a moneybag.

4:20 p.m. — Police went to Ramsgate Apartments following a report of two women arguing with management. They found that one of the parties was confrontational after a family member was rescued from the pool.

8:21 p.m. — A woman told police that someone stole money from her bank account after she left her card in the ATM.

 

Wednesday, July 20

12:13 p.m. — A resident told police that a man stole house keys from an 8-year-old.

 

Thursday, July 21

12:43 p.m. — Police received a report of a mother-daughter fight from the night before.

1:23 p.m. — A resident reported that someone had stolen money orders.

 

Saturday, July 23

9:38 a.m. — Someone broke into a vehicle while it was parked at and stole a radio and hubcaps.

2:54 p.m. — Police went to the 9300 block of Excelsior Boulevard to investigate a report of a woman trying to catch ducks. The woman told police she was trying to catch the ducklings because their mother wasn’t around and there were dead ducklings in the nearby pond.

 

Sunday, July 24

9:39 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a domestic assault on the 800 block of Sixth Street South.
