Monday, August 15

  • 11:33 a.m. — Someone cut out a window screen and opened a window at .
  • 7:35 p.m. — Police received a report that someone broke into a vehicle parked at .
  • 7:58 p.m. — Police received another report that a vehicle parked at LA Fitness had been broken into.

Tuesday, August 16

  • 3:29 a.m. — A woman told police that people on the 300 block of Van Buren Avenue North were being loud. When officers checked the area, they found that two people were boxing. The officers talked with those involved.

  • 11:16 a.m. — Police received a report that a man was walking near the intersection of Highway 7 and Highway 169 and that he was “swerving” in the roadway. The man told officers that he was swerving because he was scared of grasshoppers. The officers gave him a ride to a bus stop.
  • 8:45 p.m. — Officers responded to a report of a domestic assault on the 600 block of 10th Avenue South in which a man was reported to have punched a woman in the mouth. Police took the man to jail.
