Monday, Aug. 20

  • 1:55 a.m. — Officers found a couple having sex in a vehicle on the 700 block of 11th Avenue South. Police told them to go inside.
  • 10:34 a.m. — Two women were found squatting in a Hopkins Plaza apartment and appeared high. A reservation was made for them at the 1800 Chicago Service Center.

A man was charged with first-degree burglary and third-degree assault for allegedly breaking into his estranged wife's home, stealing money intended for school clothes and knocking out her two front teeth. to read the full story.
