Respect For One Another Through Love

Standards For A Happier Life In Hopkins Minnesota And Around The World!

I, Shelly D. Thomas, take you Jehovah, to be my husband: lawfully wedded husband, my constant friend, my faithful partner and my love from this day forward. In the presence of you Lord Jehovah, our family and friends, I offer you my solemn vow to be your faithful partner in sickness and in health, in good times and in bad, and in joy as well as in sorrow. I promise to love you unconditionally, to support you in your goals, to honor and respect you, to laugh with you and to cry with you, and to cherish you for as long as we both shall live.

Wow! Although, I've never taken those wedding vows with a human husband, it is for God to decide what I shall commit to doing for him while I'm here on earth. God has a plan for each of us. What we can do for one another is show love through  respecting, appreciating and humbling ourselves. When you meet someone new, it is not by chance. I believe we are meant to cross paths with selected individuals. We can set a great example by being true to one another. Honesty is the best policy...wouldn't you agree? Who wants to be deceived? I don't.  Set a godly example by knowing what Jesus taught in the Holy Scriptures.

I'm using "THE HOLY BIBLE, Old and New Testaments IN THE King James Version, publisher THOMAS NELSON INC." My references are: John 8:28-29. John 8:28, " Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself;  but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things." John 8:29 " And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him."

What a wonderful lesson to live by. I love preventing mistakes that may be something to regret. We can individually make the world a much better place to live, including the City of Hopkins. I'm committing to kindness and respect for one another.

I wish for you, blessings of love, peace and happiness
