Ms. Shelly D. Thomas The Fashion Designer

My Hand Sewn Dress Collection: By Ms. Shelly D. Thomas

I've always been an artist. I was in grade school when it all started. I used to get in trouble in class sketching images while the teacher gave lessons. One of the teachers recognized I had talent and from there a few of us students were taken out of class to visit the local art museums to study famous artists on a weekly basis.

When I became a teenager I went from drawing animation to objects ... such as cars for a Cub Scout leader named Mrs. Jones. The most advanced Cub Scout student would receive the poster size sketch of the antique car to color, which was then hung at the Cub Scout organization.

Later in my teens I started sketching clothing designs and became interested in drawing portraits. I'm still working in all genres of art. I can never get enough of producing new images. Since I graduated from The John Casablancas Modeling school here in Minnesota on October 20, 1990 I've decided to model my own dress-line I call "Angel Dresses." Thanks for reading my brief blog about my clothing designs collection all hand sewn and from a pattern I made!
