Absentee Dating! The Invisible Perspective Husband

Relationships Up Close And Personal: The Invisible Perspective Husband

Never heard of absentee dating? I'm sure you have! Absentee dating is when you are dating someone you never see in the physical form. Absentee dating is when you spend most of your time communicating by text messages in an attempt to get to know one another, this is also called Invisible dating!

What you get out of invisible dating may be a random call...maybe four times a year. You may actually physically see them a couple times a year...someone told me that's not dating! In fact in the absence of your perspective spouse the only thing you really get out of it is... you may hear their voice or even have a picture of that person that you've developed some sort of feelings for.

But how does one develop feelings for someone they never spend time with? Text messages in place of his presence doesn't make the heart grow fonder, actually you never get pass the get to know me phase! Even though the text messages of "I Love You Baby, I Love The Effects You Have On Me, I'm Yours, I Can Wait, Tag You're It, Miss U" and words like "I'm Sorry I Let You Down"...now seem like meaningless words.
