Minnetonka Rotary Presents Hopkins High School Scholarship.

May 15th 7:00pm at Hopkins High School Commons an Awards Ceremony took place honoring the Hopkins High School Students who excelled at different areas with acknowledgement from various organizations.

The Minnetonka Rotary believes in “Building Responsible Youth” and identified a student for just such an award.  Sarah Benton was presented with a scholarship for $2,000 to further her education.  Sarah is a 4.0 GPA student, a member of the National Honor Society, captain of the HHS Nordic Ski Team, and has received a Silver Congressional Medal Award. Sarah will be attending Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.  For the evening over 50 scholarships were awarded to students for academic excellence, school and community participation, and other noteworthy performance.

The Minnetonka Rotary meets at Eisenhower Community Center, Room 233, on Hwy 7 every Wednesday at 7:15am.
