Blair's Tree of Hope Inaugural 5k Run-Walk

We have our INAUGURAL Blair's Tree of Hope 5k Run/Walk!  on 5/19/2012.  I know what you might be thinking... "5k!  I'm NOT a runner!!" or "how much money do I have to raise??".  If you don't consider yourself athletically-inclined this event is perfect for ANYONE, any age, any fitness level!  There is no time limit for completing the course, and the scenery at Lake Rebecca is so beautiful it will literally be A walk in the park!  The bottom line is that all proceeds from the event (registration proceeds included) will benefit families who are in true need due to having a terminally ill child.  These are real needs that otherwise go too often unmet and that make an immediate difference in the lives of families and children. Last year we helped 96 families directly and over 1000 indirectly at Chidlren’s Minneapolis and the U of M Amplatz.  So often we encounter situations where we wish we could help but are unable... for an array of reasons, we just don't have the means.  But this is a situation where YOU CAN help!!  All it takes is clicking this link: http://www.active.com/5k-race/rockford-mn/blairs-tree-of-hope-5k-run-walk-2012, and signing up for a fun-filled day on May 19th.  Please help us in our ongoing pursuit of HOPE: Helping Other People Everyday!
