Scrap Metal Collection Helps Raise Money for Hopkins Rugby

On November 2, 2013, Hopkins Rugby players and parents worked together to unpack, sort, and haul a significant amount of metal racking to raise money for the Club.  The racking was donated by a local business which allowed the team to come on-site, collect and sort the metal, and then bring it to a local recycling center where the Club obtains money for the scrap metal it brings in.

Hopkins Rugby will be collecting scrap metal on an ongoing basis to raise much needed funds for scholarships, facility and park rentals, uniforms, and other needs.  Hopkins Rugby (also known as Hopkins Royals RFC) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization.  Therefore, donations to Hopkins Rugby are tax deductible.

If you are interested in donating scrap metal for the Club, please contact Ron Dummer at 612-250-5752.   A list of items you can donate is below.
