Hopkins Lions Club - Monthly Dinner Meeting

Join us on the first Tuesday of the month for our month dinner meeting.

The Lions Club is the world's largest service club organization. Lions are an international network of 46,000 clubs with 1.35 million members who work together to answer the needs that challenge communities around the world.

Known for working to end preventable blindness, the Hopkins Lions club members also participate in a vast variety of projects important to their communities.  In 1943, the Hopkins Lions raised $8,000 to purchase and construct Shady Oak Beach.  In 1971, 61 Lions Club members funded and built the picnic shelter at Shady Oak.  The local clubs have purchased upgraded lighting for the Activity Center, purchased equipment for the police and fire departments, and have contributed to numerous individuals in need of things from medical equipment to leader dogs.

In keeping with the Lions "Sight First" project - our club pays for exams and eyeglasses for youth and deserving individuals who would otherwise not be able to afford eyeglasses.
