The Minnesota 9-11 Tribute Memorial Concert takes place every September 11 at 7pm at the Lake Harriet Band Shell. It is a event remembering, honoring military and first responders and celebrating life, America and each other.
NEW .... this year we will be adding something special .... PRE-CONCERT AMERICANA ACTIVITIES ..... BEGINNING AT 5PM which will be featuring diverse community groups and performers.
The entire Minnesota 9-11 Tribute Concert is made up of VOLUNTEERS - including the Board of Directors who come together to plan the concert and program, ask for volunteers to participate, for donations from businesses and individuals ONLY to pay for the candles, music, printing programs and flags used at the concert.

This year we also have support and have been granted monies from a Grant
proposal we submitted through MRAC.
HOPKINS AREA organizations will also be involved including Hopkins American Legion, VFW and Fire Department members. The Minnesota State Fire Service Memorial Pipe Band will be honoring us with their participation and coordination of an inter-service color guard.

We are putting out a call to ALL FIRST RESPONDERS -- Fire, Police, EMS, ALL Military and Veterans to join us be honored and celebrate with us. ANY Boy scout, Girl scout troops PLEASE contact me for availability. We have an ASL INTERPRETOR so we are requesting any one needing her services sit in the front reserved seating with those disabled and in wheelchairs.
The Minnesota 9-11 Tribute is performed by an all volunteer orchestra and chorus. Rehearsals begin in mid August. ANY orchestra or chorus member, anyone wishing to help out or participate please contact me. As well as anyone wishing to make a contribution or donation.
