WATCH: Awesome Vintage Raspberry Parade Footage from 1967

A YouTube user posted video of the parade Sunday.

The 79th Annual Raspberry Festival is still several months away, but YouTube user David Bogen on Sunday offered viewers a quick reminder of the warm days ahead with footage of the 1967 Raspberry Festival Grande Day Parade.

The three-minute video starts with the color guard and continues on to show bands, Raspberry Royalty, floats and more.

According to the Raspberry Festival website, the following residents were named Raspberry Royalty that year:

This year’s Raspberry Festival takes place from July 13 to July 21. The full schedule is already available here.

But residents don’t have to wait until July to celebrate the city’s raspberry heritage. The Raspberry Festival hosts the Fourth Annual Spaghetti Fundraiser from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. April 13 at the Hopkins Activity Center. Dinners costs $8 for adults and $5 for children younger than 10. Children under 4 are free.

There will also be a silent auction, bingo and $1 build-your-own ice cream sundaes.

The money benefits Raspberry Royalty scholarships.
