(VIDEO) First Responders Observe 10th Anniversary of 9/11 Attacks

Agencies across the state remembered the tragedy with a memorial and vehicle display Sunday in Eden Prairie.

Among the many lessons of 9/11 was the fact that interagency co-operation is essential to any large-scale crisis response. First responders from around the state demonstrated how capable they are in meeting this sort of challenge Sunday at Grace Church in Eden Prairie.

A later in the day in honor of the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks put this display of technology, manpower and equipment in a mood more somber and distinct from the bright sun outside of the church. Inside, many local dignitaries, as well as ranking EMS officials, celebrated the lives and sacrifice of those who had fallen in the line of duty—both in Minnesota and across the world.
