Unseasonable Weather Continues With Winter Weather Advisory

Snow is possible every day until Tuesday.

The prospect of more snow remains even as residents dig out from “Winter Storm Walda”

Thursday’s weather closed the Hiawatha light rail, cancelled numerous flights out of the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport and forced schools to cancel or postpone most sporting events.

The winter storm warning expired at 7 p.m. Thursday, but a winter weather advisory remains in effect until noon Friday.

“A winter weather advisory for snow means that periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties,” according to the National Weather Service.

There is an 80 percent chance of snow Friday, mostly until noon. Snow is possible every day until Tuesday.
