Snow Continues to Blanket Hopkins

A snow emergency will remain in effect until all streets are plowed curb to curb.

Cars and pedestrians continued to struggle through the snow Monday as a winter storm added two to three inches of snowfall to the foot that  fell on the Twin Cities the night before.

Residents reported side roads that were impassable early in the day, and some drivers had been forced to overnight with friends or family. By early afternoon, most of central Hopkins looked clear—albeit much narrower because of all the snow that plows had to push aside.

The snow emergency that was declared Sunday will remain in effect until all streets are plowed curb to curb. Click here for snow emergency rules.
