MnPASS Lane Closures Start May 6
Closures will continue until the project is completed in mid July.
Drivers will face MnPASS lane closures on Interstate 394 starting next week.
Lanes will be closed between Interstate 94 and Highway 100 beginning May 6 in order for crews to replace protective gate arms, the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) announced.
The agency will close access to the reversible section from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays. Evening, overnight and weekend closures may also be needed. If those closures do wind up being necessary, MnDOT will provide additional information.

The section will be open during major downtown Minneapolis events and during the following times:
- Eastbound weekdays from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.,
- Westbound weekdays from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and
- As needed for major events.
Crews will complete the project in mid July.
