Mainstreet Days Hits Hopkins' Downtown May 19

The event features art and craft vendors and family entertainment.

Residents only have a few more weeks before returns to Hopkins Downtown.

The annual event, sponsored by the Hopkins Area Jaycees, takes place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 19.

More than 70 art and craft vendors will be present, along with several food vendors. There will also be family entertainment—including train rides, face painting, a balloon twister, mechanical bull, pony rides and children’s activities.

Sheltered Reality, a choreographed drum line, will perform at 11:30 a.m.

Mainstreet Days takes place on Mainstreet between Eighth and 11th avenues. It's free and open to the public.
