Like the Hopkins Patch Facebook Page to Pie Your Local Editor

Hopkins, Golden Valley and Minnetonka are having a Facebook race. The editor of the first Patch to add 150 more likes will get a pie to the face.

We Patch editors like to think we’re well liked in our communities. We know our cities, love the people and have no small amount of local pride for the places we cover.

Then again, we bet there are a few of you out there who’d like to see us take a pie to the face.

Well, now’s your chance.

Hopkins Editor James Warden, Golden Valley Editor Val Engler and Minnetonka Editor Becky Glander are throwing themselves on the mercy of our readers. Vote for your favorite editor to take a pie to the face by clicking the appropriate link below and liking that Patch’s Facebook page:

The editor of the first site to add 150 more Facebook likes will be pied by his or her fellow editors—with video to be published across all three sites. So share the contest with family, friends and anyone else interested in your community.

As a bonus, you’ll receive all the latest local news right in your Facebook feed. And feel free to share photos, local happenings and other tidbits with your neighbors on the site.

Now bring on the whipped cream.
