'I Don't Appreciate The Tone, Weather': Hopkins-Area Residents Respond to Storm

For a second night, Hopkins residents experienced strong winds and a lot of rain.

As of 11 p.m. Friday, Xcel Energy reported about 50 power outages in the Hopkins area and thousands around the Twin Cities (see the map with this story).

Hennepin County is in a flash flood warning until 4:30 a.m. Saturday, June 22. A flash flood watch continues until 1 p.m. Saturday.
