Hopkins Braces for Winter Weather

The latest weather advisory has a winter storm warning in effect through Wednesday evening.

A winter storm warning is in effect through Wednesday evening, according to a National Weather Service bulletin released just after noon Tuesday.

Rain, snow and sleet are expected to come down over Hopkins—with the precipitation turning entirely to snow after 3 a.m. Daytime snowfall of around an inch is possible, according to the National Weather Service. Two to four inches of snow and sleet could accumulate over the evening, followed by one to three inches of snow Wednesday.

Winds with gusts as strong as 25 mph will come with the snowfall.
