Dine Out to Fight HIV/AIDS

Pizza Lucé is one of about 180 restaurants participating in a fundraiser April 26 for The Aliveness Project.

will be offering diners a chance to eat out while helping to provide services for people living with HIV/AIDS.

The Hopkins restaurant is one of more than 180 restaurants donating a portion of their proceeds April 26 as part of The Aliveness Project’s annual Dining Out For Life fundraiser. Pizza Lucé will donate 35 percent of its dine-in sales during the fundraiser.

All money will go to The Aliveness Project, a community center in south Minneapolis that provides services and programs to the HIV/AIDS community. The organization:

  • Serves meals six days a week,
  • Operates a food shelf,
  • Offers massage, acupuncture, chiropractic, Shiatsu and other therapies that alleviate pain and symptoms of HIV/AIDS and
  • Helps direct members to other resources.
