Yogatiques, A New Yoga Concept, Opens in Hopkins - New Studio offers Daily Yoga, a Wellness Room and One-of-a-Kind Boutique

Yogatiques is a coming together of passions and practice. Founded by three former Hopkins grads, Yogatiques is a place of shared dreams and fulfilled purpose offering daily yoga, a wellness room for Reiki and therapeutic massage, and a one-of-a-kind boutique.

Guided by their shared pasts and passions for the art of possibility, owners Christy Wandrei, Kelly Dunlap and Jan Gniffke have embraced the character and charm of this historic Hopkins house and created a neighborhood gem where local residents can refresh, restore and renew (while even getting in a little retail therapy!).

Yoga – Whether Twin Cities residents are just thinking about starting yoga, looking for a new studio home, or wanting to take their practice to the next level, Yogatiques' team of talented instructors offers classes for everyone. Between two and five classes are scheduled daily, seven days a week, and include Beginners Yoga, Hatha Flow, Slow Burn and many more based on a variety of teaching styles and interests. Yogatiques also features special workshops and events, including an upcoming “Sweetheart Partner Yoga” on Valentine's Day and a “Yoga for Hockey” series.

Wellness Services – A Wellness Room offers the perfect complement to Yogatiques classes. Featuring Reiki, a stress reduction/relaxation technique involving light touch, and Therapeutic Massage, including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, reflexology, pre- and post-natal massage, sports injury, relaxation and rehabilitative massage, a variety of wellness services help reduce stress and promote healthy living.

Boutique – With dozens of antique shops and boutiques lining the streets of Hopkins, Yogatiques adds to the city's shopping charm by filling this historic space with a playful blend of one-of-a-kind finds, antiques, local artisan wares, unique accessories and must-have items. In addition, the boutique area features a line of Yogatiques signature items and products to meet everyone's yoga needs.

Whether participating in a class, strolling beyond the doorstep at the seasonal Farmers' Market, or taking in unique Hopkins-area shopping opportunities, the Yogatiques boutique is an inspiration destination. Local artists also can inquire about having products and art featured in the Yogatiques space.

In addition, Yogatiques will operate an “Occasional Shops” schedule, with expanded product selections, in the coming months. Regular boutique hours coincide with class schedules and Occasional Shops information will be posted at Yogatiques.com.

About Yogatiques
Planting its roots in the Hopkins community in January of 2014, Yogatiques comes from a history of shared pasts and pursued dreams. Growing up as sisters, friends, and sister-friends (friends so close they are like sisters!), the Yogatiques founders – Christy, Kelly and Jan – spent many years paving the way for this new venture.

Yogatiques offers Daily Yoga, a Wellness Room for Reiki and Therapeutic Massage, and a one-of-a-kind Boutique. You can find more information on Yogatiques at yogatiques.com or on Facebook, at www.facebook.com/yogatiques. Also follow @Yogatiques on Twitter.
