Blackstone manor took second, and Hopkins Carpet One placed third.

won first place in the Old-Fashioned Holiday window-decorating contest.

The winning window looked like a room from a Victorian home ready for the holidays. A china doll sat in a chair straight from the grandparents’ home. Milk and cookies waited for Santa’s visit. A traditional Christmas tree and presents completed the seasonal ambience.

More than 300 people took part in the Old-Fashioned Holiday celebration—whether petting reindeer, going on sleigh rides with Santa and or looking at the gingerbread houses, according to the Hopkins Business and Civic Association.
