Bites Nearby: Patrick’s Bakery and Café—Home of the Patou Burger

This small-town diner features a wide selection of entrees, desserts and drinks sure to satisfy everyone's palate!

The multiple award-winning breaks the mold of the stereotypical small-town diner and injects some ingenuity and personality into each meal served. 

Located at the corner of Highway 62 and Xerxes in Richfield, with a satellite location in the Bachman’s at Lyndale Square, Patrick’s features a full breakfast, lunch and dinner menu—along with baked goods, pastries, wedding cakes and yummy desserts for diners to savor at home. 

Patrick’s also features the unique, owner-created Patou burger—a recreation of the owner Patrick Bernet’s childhood favorite hamburger, exclusively served by Patrick’s.

Jointly owned by Patrick and Azita Bernet, the restaurant is truly a “jack of all trades” establishment. It serves children's selections, sandwiches, breakfast items, French-inspired entrees and specialty coffee drinks. The restaurant also has a sizable wine and beer list. The dinner menu is served table-side and features mussel and seafood dishes on Friday and Saturday evenings.

After eating delicious meals, diners can top off their dining experience with French and Italian inspired pastries, croissants, Danish, turnovers, cookies and chocolates.

Patrick’s also features a full catering service and box lunches for corporate meetings or events. Every Monday night is Ladies’ Night with $3 glasses of beer or wine and $3 showcased desserts. Tuesday and Thursday nights are Kids' Night, with free children's entrees with purchase of an adult entrée. Bon Appetite!
