Two Men Charged in Hopkins Cheerleader Prostitution Case

Cornell Frank Caston and Oladipupo Ademola Legunsen, both of Brooklyn Park, were each charged with one count of felony prostitution.

Two men who responded to the ad placed by a Hopkins High School cheerleader on behalf of a younger teammate have been charged in court.

Cornell Frank Caston, 21, and Oladipupo Ademola Legunsen, 27, both of Brooklyn Park, were each charged with one count of felony prostitution on June 25. If convicted, the men face up to 5 years in prison and/or a $10,000 fine.

Montia Marie Parker, an 18-year-old senior from Maple Grove, isaccused of trafficking a 16-year-old Hopkins cheerleader by placing an ad on Backpage.com and convincing her to prostitute herself.

Montia Marie Parker was charged on May 22 with two felonies: sex trafficking in the second degree and solicitation, inducement and promotion of prostitution.

The victim is a sophomore at Hopkins High School and on the cheerleading team. Her mother told police that she is on an Individual Education Plan at school and works with a social worker due to a developmental cognitive delay.

With the assistance of the victim, Caston and Legunson were identified. When contacted by detectives, both adult males denied having any sexual contact with the juvenile female. The victim viewed two separate photo line-ups and confirmed the two males were the ones who responded to the ad, according to police.
