(Video) Hopkins Arts Center Members Display Their Work
The 2011 Members' Nonjuried Exhibition runs through May 22.
hosted the 2011 Members’ Nonjuried Exhibition on Thursday. The show, which is open to all arts center members, allows a variety of artists to show off their work and recognizes the best pieces of art.
Judges recognized the following artists:
Best of Show- James A. Clark: Her Seine and Stars (charcoal, pastel on paper)
- Angela Heida: MN Tribute: Ramone – delivers food to Haiti (ceramic)
- Jesse Valley: Red/Green (photography)
- Ray Frigard: Leaf Boy and the Sage (stoneware)
- Kathy Jorgenson: Grandpa (oil on canvas)
- Nicky Torkzadeh: Refractions (acrylic on canvas)
- Eileen Custer: Shifting Earth 1 (acrylic, pattern)
- Rita Kirsch Dungey: Acoustic Turbulence (acrylic on canvas)
- Jan Green: Beauty (oil on board)
- C.J. Renner: Untitled (ink on canvas)
- John Rudquist: Lower Minnehaha Creek #1 (digital photography—inkjet print)
- Toto Sugiarto: Heart Whisperer (acrylic on Canvas)
