Review 'Thin Ice' and Win a Prize

Patch wants to hear what you think of the movie.

Thin Ice has been the talk of Hopkins since Greg Kinnear and Alan Arkin filmed portions of the movie here in 2009. But aside from a showing at the Walker Art Center, residents haven’t had much chance to see it.

That will change Friday when Lagoon Cinema in Minneapolis will begin offering four showings of Thin Ice a day through at least Feb. 23 (show times aren’t available further out).

Thin Ice, formerly called The Convincer, currently has a respectable 80 percent on Rotten Tomatoes—with positive reviews from publications such as Entertainment Weekly and the Dallas Morning News.
