Hopkins Arts Center Announces New Concert Calendar
From Grammy winners to longtime favorites, the 2012-13 season looks to be a big one.
Coming off a season that saw three sold-out shows, the has put together a Saturday concert series for 2012-13 featuring a mix of big names and regional favorites.
The center aims to top last year’s average of about 560 people per concert with the help of groups like Grammy nominated Quartet San Francisco and Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul and Mary fame.
“It’s shaping up to be another busy year,” said arts center Director Amanda Birnstengel, joking. “Who can beat ‘Puff the Magic Dragon,’ really?”
