Hopkins Art Social Club Extended Through Summer

The gatherings take place the fourth Monday of each month.

The Art Social Club of Hopkins held its first gathering on Monday, September 26 at the , 1106 Mainstreet, Hopkins. Originally, the group was scheduled to meet October through May of each year. However, due to popular demand, the Club will go year-round and continue to meet over summer 2012.

This free event, open to the public, provides an opportunity for visual artists, writers, performing artists of all kinds as well as art lovers to network and socialize in an informal and fun atmosphere. Participants can:

  • Share news.
  • Learn about arts events and opportunities in the area.
  • Perform during open mike periods.
  • Enter drawings for prizes.
  • Enjoy free appetizers provided compliments of The Wild Boar.

The gatherings are the fourth Monday of each month from 6-8pm (the May, 2012 gathering will be May 21 as the fourth Monday is Memorial Day). These events are organized by members of Friends of Hopkins Center for the Arts and the Hopkins Arts Advisory Council.
