Hopkins High School Pops Concert

This year marks 40 years since Hopkins High School students started performing pops concerts, and the musicians are busy preparing for another set of concerts this year.

The concerts will offer “a sampling of lighter band music, comedy and musical routines,” according to a school district news release. Both junior and senior bands, the LMPM (Lean Mean Performance Machine), Drumline, Jazz One and Jazz Too will perform.

Performances take place Feb. 3 and Feb. 4, with both concerts at 7 p.m. in the Hopkins High School Auditorium (2400 Lindbergh Drive, Minnetonka).
