Driven to Serve Block Party

Drivers passing on Highway 7 may have noticed a shiny, red vehicle sitting in the church’s parking lot.

The 2012 Ford Focus SE is first prize for a raffle taking place at Gethsemane’s Driven to Serve Block Party on Sunday.

The free block party brings neighbors together to celebrate spring. There will be inflatable games for children, food and beverages and music by Minneapolis rock band Concentual.

The block party takes place from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Gethsemane Lutheran Church south parking lot. Raffle tickets are $50 each and can be purchased:

  • Between church services from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Sunday,
  • At the block party and
  • By calling the church office at 952-935-1753. Leave a name and number, and a ticket manager will call back within 24 hours.

  • Second prize: 46-inch Sony LED HD Television
  • Third prize: Toro 22-inch Personal Pace Electric Start Lawn Mower

Residents must be 18 or older to buy raffle tickets. Entrants do not need to be present to win.
