VIDEO: Hopkins City Council Recognizes Eagle Scout Project

Garrett Leatherman rebuilt the community bulletin board.

Garrett Leatherman was looking for an Eagle Scout project earlier this year when he noticed the green wooden bulletin board between the Post Office and City Hall could use some work.

Leatherman, of Troop 346, contacted the city and was soon at work renovating the bulletin board. Leatherman and his father got materials from local businesses and rebuilt the bulletin board over the summer—complete with a new roof.

The Hopkins City Council recognized Leatherman for his work at Tuesday’s council meeting.
