The 11 Best Foods at The Depot

If you haven’t been to The Depot Coffee House lately, you’re missing out. Contrary to the facility’s name, coffee has become just one part of what the Hopkins establishment does. Coffee Operations Manager and Chef Phil Velo bakes tasty treats that are in high demand—sometimes selling out in mere hours.

On Feb. 8, Velo’s specialties will be part of a Tea & Treasures event raising money for the Hopkins Center for the Arts. Afternoon tea starts at 1 p.m. There will be sandwiches, scones and special treats. TeaSource will provide several special tea choices. Tickets, which must be purchased in advance, cost $25 and are available at the arts center or by calling 952-979-1101. There will also be a Jewelry and Wearable Art Show and Sale from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
