Taste of Hopkins Takes Place Feb. 5

Sample foods from local restaurants and learn about the city.

Residents will once again have a chance to learn about the City of Hopkins and sample foods from restaurants in the community Feb. 5 at the annual State of the City/Taste of Hopkins at the Hopkins Center for the Arts.

The evening begins with the Taste of Hopkins from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Restaurants and beverage suppliers will provide free samples. Attendees are asked to bring a monetary donation or a non-perishable food item for ICA Food Shelf.

After the tasting, the State of the City will take place in the Jaycees Studio. Each year’s presentation is based on different format. Two years ago, it was “Want to be a Hopkins Millionaire?” Last year the theme was “Family Feud.” This year’s theme is a closely hidden secret until the event.
