These local parks are fun for a family picnic or the family dog.

With basketball courts, a playground, picnic shelter and a large field, there’s something for fans of any activity.

Near Blake Road but still away from the hustle and bustle, Oakes Park’s main attraction is the sledding hill but other amenities include tennis courts and a playground.

This small neighborhood park is perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy peace and quiet or a game of fetch with the dog. Just off of Minnetonka Boulevard, it features a modern playground and basketball courts.

  • Where: 262 Homedale Road

 

This park is great for both kids and adults. Kids will love the playground while adults can play on either the basketball court or the large soccer field.

  • Where: 439 Blake Road

 

Sledding is king at this park but the picnic shelter, basketball courts, softball fields, sand volleyball courts, and archery range ensure that everyone will find something they like.
