Hopkins Hosts Cinco De Mayo Celebration Saturday

Join Hopkins in celebrating Mexican culture.

Cinco de Mayo is a wonderful way to celebrate our neighbors to the south with good food, great company and fun-filled events. May 5 marks the Mexican Army’s victory over French forces in the Battle of Puebla in 1862. This year Hopkins is getting in on the celebration.

The , the and the Joint Community Police Partnership are hosting a family Cinco De Mayo celebration Saturday.

The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in at 301 Second Street N. There will be free food, entertainment, piñatas for kids and adults, prizes and a resource fair.
