A weekly calendar of kid-friendly activities and new places to try out with the kids. Each week, we'll give you the info on the five best family activities or events for the week.

Why Go: Catch the last weekend of this children’s adventure based on the award winning book.

Why Go: If your kids (K-12) need help getting through their homework before break begins, send them to the library for tutoring assistance.

Why Go: Clear this dreary weather up with live music at the indoor park.

Price: Free

Where: in St. Louis Park

When: 7 p.m. Friday, Mar. 25 and Saturday, Mar. 26; 3 p.m. Sunday, Mar. 27

Why Go: Don’t miss Dorothy and the munchkins in action.

Price: Free admission, but donations will not be turned away. No tickets are required. Seating is first-come, first-served.

When: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sundays

Why Go: Get your kids ready for the summer.
