Bites Nearby: Vina Restaurant Offers Great, Healthy Food

Vina is an authentic Vietnamese restaurant still run by the chain's founder.

This locally owned chain restaurant features authentic Vietnamese cuisine and a healthier restaurant alternative. The original founder of Vina solely maintains the restaurant, so diners can be assured they receive the food and service that has been lauded in local media numerous times.

Vina prides itself on offering quick-service eating to its customers as well as fresh, high quality food. Its menu features combination dinners “for two,” as well as a variety of beef, pork, seafood and chicken entrees. Their lunch menu, served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Saturday, offers daily combination platters with appetizers for $7. Additionally, the restaurant offers a large vegetarian entree selection, including tofu dishes and steamed entrees for those looking for a low-calorie meal. And of course, no proper Vietnamese restaurant would be complete without large bowls of Pho (traditional Vietnamese Noodle Soup). Vina offers several varieties.

Favorites such as lo mein, chow mein, egg fu young and fried rice are also offered—along with egg rolls, spring rolls and wontons. Dinner is served from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Seating can be limited so arrive early to avoid a wait.
