Starting with the Roman conversion to Catholicism there has been a constant imperial conquest of the world with forced conversions, church imperial state alliances, inquisitions, etc. You are welcome to follow your church's laws but the rest of the world doesn't want them imposed on us. You church has has had a constant war on science and intellectual pursuit because thinking and discovery threatens established church dogma. If you want to unceremoniously trash unneeded embryo's from fertility clinics that's fine for believers, but others should also be free to donate them to save lives.
