Heart, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts

8 p.m., Friday, June 29. In a dream lineup for lovers of classic-rock goddesses, Joan Jett and the sisters Heart (pictured) are coming to Mystic Lake to take us all back to the days of acid-washed jeans, Chevy Caprices, and bodacious hair. 

Yoga at Crofut Winery

A glass of wine is the perfect way to relax, but wine and yoga is pure bliss. Come unwind next to the vines on Saturday, June 30 at 11 a.m. Elise Steger of Dragonfly Yoga will be leading an hour and 15 minute yoga class in our vineyard in Jordan, MN, just south of Shakopee. This is an all-levels class, so everyone from beginner to advanced is welcome to join.

Minneapolis Pittie Parade

Secondhand Hounds and Save-a-Bull would like to invite you to participate in the multi-rescue Pittie Parade at noon Saturday, June 30, at Locke Park in Fridley. It will be a fun, inclusive event to promote a positive public image of pit bulls and pit bull owners. Dogs of all breeds and their owners are welcome to join us. The more people that attend, the larger impact we can make! 

Hopkins Multicultural Celebration

Everyone is welcome to join in festivities that include games, music, food and prizes and raffles. Police officers and firefighters will also be there to join in the fun. The event takes place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Hopkins' Central Park.

Annual Richfield Hometown 4th of July

Since 1980, resident volunteers have worked to put together this public, six-day celebration. The carnival is Saturday and Sunday at Veteran's Memorial Park from 1-11 p.m. Unlimited ride wristbands available for $20 for 1-5 p.m.
