Royelles Hold on to Second Place in Lake Conference
The Hopkins High School dance team took second in Thursday’s jazz meet.
A pair of runner-up finishes has the Hopkins Royelles ranked No. 2 in the Lake Conference after two jazz meets.
The Hopkins High School dancers clinched another second-place finish Thursday at Minnetonka. That followed another second-place finish a week earlier at home.
The two meets leave the Lake Conference teams with the following jazz rankings:
- Wayzata: 10 points
- Hopkins: 8 points
- Edina: 6 points
- Eden Prairie: 4 points
- Minnetonka: 2 points
The Royelles continue the Lake Conference competition Thursday with a kick meet in Wayzata.
