(PHOTOS) Vote on the Best Gingerbread Houses
City employees created gingerbread houses to raise money for charity.
Thursday’s Old-Fashioned Holiday celebration has no shortage of wintery activities, but make sure you don’t miss the gingerbread houses on display at Albert Pike Masonic Lodge.
City employees created gingerbread houses with creative themes ranging from Angry Birds to “Frosty’s Retirement.” People can then vote on their favorite houses by putting coins in the jar next to their favorite. All of the money will go to the nonprofit designated by the winner.
The fun doesn’t end with the Old-Fashioned Holiday celebration. Voting continues through Dec. 23.
The gingerbread houses will be on display at the following locations:
- Dec. 5 through Dec. 15: Hopkins Activity Center
- Dec. 8: Albert Pike Masonic Lodge at 907 Mainstreet for the Old Fashioned Christmas
- Dec. 16 through Dec. 23: City Hall
