Okee Dokee Brothers: From Hopkins Library to Grammy Fame
The children's music duo played the Hopkins Library in October 2010. Sunday they won a Grammy.
The Twin Cities' own Okee Dokee Brothers went and won the Grammy Award for Best Children's Album Sunday, for their CD Can You Canoe? The YouTube video above shows them playing a pre-Grammy show Saturday in Los Angeles.
That's a long way from the show they performed a little more than two years ago at the Hopkins Library. Did you go see that show? You never know who will become famous when you go to a library event.
