Martineau, Ilene Pearl (nee Bartz) Age 89, of Hopkins, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2012. Survived by daughter, Shelley; son, Michael; and sister, Dorine Neumann. Special thanks to Mary Helmbrecht. Preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, René "Ray". Ilene loved to bake, play cards and go shopping for bargains. She was a lifetime member of the Hopkins VFW Women's Auxiliary where she often baked food for special events. Those fortunate to know and love her will forever treasure the gift of her strength and unconditional love. She was a devoted wife and mother. Her family and home were her world. A personal thank you to Sholom Home West and their hospice team. Memorials preferred to family.
