• 9:04 a.m. — A caller reported that someone stole a phone charger from a vehicle parked on the 600 block of North Van Buren Trail.
• 9:24 a.m. — A resident reported that someone stole sunglasses from another vehicle parked on the 600 block of North Van Buren Trail.
• 4:51 p.m. — Police received a report that a drunk man was running into traffic near Jiffy Lube. Officers talked to the man.

Saturday, Aug. 11

• 1:49 a.m. — Police learned that people were sleeping in the Oak Ridge Lofts entryway. Officers talked to the people.
• 2:10 a.m. — Officers got a report of a disturbance at Brentwood Apartments. Upon arrival, they learned it was a domestic assault and took one person into custody.
• 3:07 a.m. — Police received a report of a mini bike and drunk men lying in the landfill on the north side of Greenfield Apartments. When officers arrived, they found a man on the ground and started to alert the ambulance. However, the man said he just fell and was not riding the motorcycle, adding that he didn’t know who it belonged to.
• 10:04 a.m. — A resident at The Towers Retirement Living told police someone stole a wallet from the apartment.
• 2:15 p.m. — An iPad was stolen from Pizza Lucé.

Sunday, Aug. 12

• 12:59 a.m. — Police responded to an unspecified assault on the 900 block of 11^th Avenue South.
• 9:29 a.m. — Someone slashed four tires on a 1997 Ford Explorer parked on 17^th Avenue North, causing $400 damage.
• 10:16 p.m. — A woman stole a comforter and two sheets from a washer at Ultra Wash Coin Laundry.
