American Grill to Open in Old Mayon Plastics Building

Streetz Great American Grill will occupy the northern unit at the renamed Crossroads Plaza development.

A new American restaurant will be firing up its grills in the renovated Mayon Plastics building.

Sheldon Berg—an associate with DJR Architecture, which is working with Minneapolis-based Swervo Development Corp.—told Patch on Tuesday that Streetz Great American Grill will occupy the northern unit at the renamed Crossroads Plaza development at 17th Avenue and Highway 7.

The fast-casual restaurant will be owned by Paul Harmon and Bob Tinsley, who owns of Zelo in Minneapolis restaurant and Bacio in Minnetonka, the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal reported.

Harmon told the Business Journal that the restaurant will have “classic American grilled food.”

In addition to the Hopkins restaurant, Harmon and Tinsley also plan to open a Streetz in Bloomington.
